According to the letter from Department of Education dated 12 February 2010, the Genealogy Collection is not part of the &quot;core collection&quot; that will be maintained.  Then a carrot stating the commitment to ensure the stewardship of the Genealogy Collection &quot;but outside of state government&quot;.  Oh, and the part of maybe the collection could be managed in its current location is right up there with the Tooth Fairy Myth. 

I believe that they want the room for something else and are willing to tear apart a collection that they had no share in building.]]></description>
